Privacy Policy

Version 1.0 · In force from 01/02/2026 · Last updated 20/08/2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Harmony Home Staging collects, uses, stores, shares and protects personal data belonging to visitors to www.harmony-staging.com, to people who contact us through any of our channels, and to our clients and business partners, in accordance with the GDPR and applicable Polish and Portuguese law. Write to geral@harmony-staging.com if anything here is unclear.

2. Who is the data controller

The controller of your personal data — the person who decides why and how it is processed — is:

  • Dália Cristina Conceição Portela, a natural person providing home staging, photo staging and Feng Shui consultancy services under the business name Harmony Home Staging
  • Email: geral@harmony-staging.com
  • Telephone / WhatsApp: +48 515 328 381
  • Website: www.harmony-staging.com

"Harmony Home Staging" is a business name under which Dália Portela operates as an individual — not a separate company or legal entity. Where this Policy uses "we" or "us", it refers to Dália Portela acting in that professional capacity.

No Data Protection Officer has been appointed, as this is not required under Article 37 GDPR for an activity of this nature and scale. All matters relating to personal data should be addressed to geral@harmony-staging.com, marking the subject line "Personal data".

3. What personal data we collect

We collect only the data we need for the purpose in question. Depending on how you interact with us, this may include:

3.1 Data you give us directly

  • Identification and contact data: name, email address, phone number, and the company or agency you represent.
  • The content of your enquiry, sent via the website, email, WhatsApp, phone, Instagram or LinkedIn.
  • Property data: address, type, size, condition, price, photographs or floor plans, and your objectives and timeline.
  • Contractual and billing data: address, tax identification number where acting in a business capacity, and payment details.
  • Consent records: the date and scope of any consent you give us, and any withdrawal.

3.2 Data collected automatically

  • Technical data about your visit: IP address, browser and device type, operating system, pages viewed, date/time, referring site.
  • Data collected through cookies and similar technologies (see section 10).

3.3 Data we obtain from other sources

  • Publicly available business contact data of estate agents and partners, used strictly for business-to-business contact.
  • Data provided by an estate agent or family member acting on your behalf regarding a property.

We do not knowingly collect special categories of personal data (Article 9 GDPR), and we ask you not to include such information in your messages to us.

5. Is providing your data mandatory?

Providing your personal data is voluntary. However, your name, email address and a description of your enquiry are necessary for us to reply and prepare a proposal. Billing data is required where an invoice must be issued. Consent to marketing communications and to the publication of photographs is entirely optional and refusing or withdrawing it has no effect on the services you receive or their price.

6. Who has access to your data

We do not sell your personal data and do not share it for third-party advertising. We disclose data only to the following recipients, and only to the extent necessary:

  • Providers of the website, hosting and online form (currently Netlify), and of our digital hub (Linktree);
  • Providers of email, cloud storage and office software (e.g. Google Workspace / Microsoft);
  • Messaging and social media services you choose to contact us through (WhatsApp / Meta, Instagram, LinkedIn);
  • Where used, scheduling, newsletter and website analytics tools (e.g. Calendly, Google Analytics);
  • Photographers, stylists, suppliers, removal companies and other subcontractors engaged for a specific project;
  • Our accountant, and where applicable legal advisers and debt recovery services;
  • Banks and payment service providers;
  • Postal operators and courier companies;
  • Public authorities, where required by law.

Every provider that processes personal data on our behalf does so under a written data processing agreement meeting Article 28 GDPR, and may process the data only on our documented instructions.

7. Transfers outside the European Economic Area

As a rule your data is processed within the EEA. Some technology providers are established in, or use infrastructure in, third countries, principally the United States. Where a transfer outside the EEA takes place, we ensure it is protected by a safeguard permitted by Chapter V of the GDPR, in particular the EU–US Data Privacy Framework adequacy decision, or Standard Contractual Clauses. You may request a copy of the safeguards applied by writing to geral@harmony-staging.com.

8. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the following rights in relation to your personal data:

  • Access — confirmation of whether we process your data, and a copy of it (Art. 15);
  • Rectification — correction of inaccurate or incomplete data (Art. 16);
  • Erasure, also known as the right to be forgotten (Art. 17);
  • Restriction of processing (Art. 18);
  • Data portability — a structured, machine-readable copy of the data you provided (Art. 20);
  • Objection to processing based on our legitimate interest, and at any time to direct marketing (Art. 21);
  • Withdrawal of consent at any time, without affecting prior lawful processing (Art. 7(3));
  • Not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing (Art. 22).

To exercise any of these rights, write to geral@harmony-staging.com. We will respond within one month, extendable by two further months for complex requests. Exercising your rights is free of charge, unless a request is manifestly unfounded or excessive.

9. Your right to lodge a complaint

If you consider that we are processing your personal data unlawfully, you may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority in your Member State. The competent authorities for us are:

  • Poland — President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO), ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw, www.uodo.gov.pl;
  • Portugal — Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD), Av. D. Carlos I, 134 – 1.º, 1200-651 Lisbon, www.cnpd.pt;
  • France — Commission Nationale de l’Informatique et des Libertés (CNIL), 3 Place de Fontenoy, TSA 80715, 75334 Paris Cedex 07, www.cnil.fr.

We would ask you, wherever possible, to contact us first — most concerns can be resolved quickly and directly.

10. Cookies and similar technologies

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies. Essential cookies are necessary for the website to function and are used on the basis of our legitimate interest, without requiring consent. Analytics and marketing cookies are used only after you give prior consent through the cookie banner.

You can withdraw or change your cookie preferences at any time through your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may prevent parts of the website from working correctly. Embedded content from Instagram, LinkedIn or other platforms may set its own cookies, subject to their own privacy policies.

11. Automated decision-making and profiling

We do not make decisions about you based solely on automated processing, and we do not carry out profiling that produces legal effects concerning you or similarly significantly affects you.

12. How we protect your data

We apply technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risk, including encrypted transmission (SSL/TLS), password protection and two-factor authentication, access limited to those who need it, confidentiality commitments from subcontractors, regular backups, and deletion once the retention period expires. Photographs of client properties are stored separately and are not published without specific written consent.

13. Children

Our services are addressed to adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it without delay.

14. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our services, technologies or applicable law. The current version is always published at www.harmony-staging.com, together with its effective date. Where a change materially affects your rights, we will inform you directly.
